This imperial palace vessel from the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty is a masterpiece of official kiln production. It features a classic wide-mouthed, curved-belly bowl with a low ring foot—its graceful, rounded lines exude dignity and elegance, designed for daily imperial dining. The interior is glazed in a pure, lustrous white釉,translucent and fine-textured; the exterior is fully coated in a delicate yellow glaze, evenly applied with a warm, soft hue. Historically, yellow was reserved exclusively for the imperial family, symbolizing supreme status.

Decorated on the exterior are four evenly spaced panels of underglaze blue phoenix motifs. The cobalt blue is vivid and pure, with distinct layers; the phoenixes appear fluid and dynamic, surrounded by auspicious clouds and scrolling branches—a symbol of harmony, prosperity, and peace.

Constructed using a rare double-firing technique: first firing the white body with underglaze blue designs, then applying a yellow glaze and refiring at low temperature. This process is exceptionally difficult, making intact examples extremely scarce. The base bears a standard six-character seal mark in regular script: "Da Qing Yong Zheng Nian Zhi" (Made in the Reign of Yongzheng of the Great Qing), written with elegant precision—a hallmark of authentic Yongzheng official kiln ware. The piece is in flawless condition, free of cracks, chips, or glaze loss. Combining imperial yellow glaze, high-quality Xuande-style blue-and-white decoration, and auspicious phoenix imagery, it embodies both ceremonial significance and artistic mastery of the imperial kilns. Highly sought after by top collectors and museums throughout history, this piece offers exceptional value retention and appreciation potential.
